Hello,
I am having an awful time trying to restore an image to a server from the recovery CD. Two hard drives were replaced in this server. The backup is from a differential which is 2gbs and the full image which is 95gbs.
I originally started from the restore CD and got a completion time estimate of 3 days. I then created a bart pe boot disk and tried to restore the image over the network. The estimated time there was 1 day and 4 hours. I then tried copying the entire image to an external USB drive and started restoring the from there. The estimated time was 1 day and 7 hours. I thought that maybe it was just showing an inaccurate time, but i have let it go all night and it still estimates 17 hours.
So to be clear I have booted from a bart pe disk and am currently restoring from an external USB 2.0 hard drive.
This server needs to be restored as it is used daily and there has already been one day of down time. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I am desperate and we do not have phone support.
Thank you.

Hello Thomas,
Thank you for finding time to report about the issue on Forum. I understand your concern, and will be glad to help you.
The issue can be related to the slow work of the bootable media kernel. I would advise you download the latest updated media from your account, burn it onto the CD, and check whether the issue remains.
This should solve the issue faced.
In case the issue remains, please gather Acronis Info, and contact support directly with the information attached. In case your support agreement is expired, you can anyway contact support via webform or purchase a support agreement and use the phone line for assistance.
Just begin from Start here, specify that you have technical issue with the full license product, choose Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server, and you will get to the screen with the choice.
Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

What Acronis product will enable me to restore this .tib file to dissimilar hardware using the Universal Restore option?
Note: Since the Windows Server 2003 has already been relocated, taking a new backup of it with another product is a difficult option.

Acronis True Image Enterprise Server 9.1 With Universal Restore Windows 10
Unfortunately your assumption is correct: as Acronis True Image Echo Workstation supports only Workstations OS, it's Acronis Universal Restore won't recognize server OS either. And as far as Acronis Universal Restore cannot detect the supported OS in the image it won't appear.

In order to restore the image I'd advise you to use Acronis Backup and Recovery Server for Windows + Acronis Universal Restore. The GUI in this Acronis product is different, so you might find these instructions with step-by-step screenshots useful.
