I am an avid game player, but I don’t consider myself a gamer since I also do other things. That being said, I have (obviously) played many games through my life, and have many games I consider to be the best ever created. As of right now, Oblivion, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, Bowser’s Inside Story, Halo 1, and Heavenly Sword are those games. However, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga easily, EASILY, takes first place on my list.
I was a mere child when I played this game, and sure, I still am today in mind, and the amazingness this was when I played was, well, amazing. As a kid I never appreciated the story of it, but I loved how hard it was at the time, I loved how the story advanced and had crazy twists, and I loved how Peach wasn’t stolen by JUST Bowser.

In a way, this game does everything right. It keeps you interested, it flows smoothly, the vastly different areas make you feel like you are in a gigantic world. The minigames and side quests just add to the stuff to do, the badges, clothes, and power ups you get to use add a sense of power and control, and using both Mario and Luigi in Bros. moves during battles to demolish your enemies.
It is nice that the whole goal of this game is to stop Cackletta from ruling Beanbean and Mushroom Kingdom. Of course, you have to rescue Peach, but the twists in the story make that goal so much better. It’s hard to say anymore without giving away the story.

An all-in-one tool for Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Partners in Time and Bowser’s Inside Story. Dream Team support is in development. Has editing/viewing tools for maps, enemies, items, scripts. Superstar Saga has the most tools, Partners in Time has less, and Bowser’s Inside Story has even less. A For Mario B For Luigi! The gameplay of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is very interesting and something that we take for granted today. However, back in 2003, the fact that you controlled both brothers at the same time was unique. A will make Mario jump and B will make Luigi jump it is pretty interesting and a fun way to move around the map. A while ago, I ripped the soundfont from Superstar Saga straight from a ROM of the game, and this soundfont is a lot different. I don't know why they wouldn't be the same, unless this soundfont isn't actually from Superstar Saga. (It could be fake) by StarWolf3000 at 3:20 AM EDT on August 16, 2017. Of course you might be thinking “It’s Mario, what kind of story can it have?” but this game has an amazing story. It’s simple, easy to follow, and has some decent depth, especially for a Mario game.
Super Mario Superstar Saga Rom
So far I’ve played through this game at least 10 times, and each time it takes me at least 20 hours to beat it. If you do a “challenge mode” (which is where you skip as many enemies as you can and only level up by fighting bosses) the game becomes much, MUCH harder, but just feels more rewarding and even better than it was before.
Mario Superstar Saga Walkthrough
Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who’s a Nintendo fan. It’s better than the other two Mario & Luigi games, and just seems to stick with you. Every couple of months now I’ll pick it up again and beat it, it’s just that amazing.
